Digital Skills Detroit: This fall we launched the first cohort of learning circles in Detroit focused on digital literacy and inclusion support by The Rocket Community Fund and partnering with Tech Goes Home (TGH) of Boston, United Way of Southeastern Michigan (UWSEM) and Black Tech Saturdays (BTS). See the project site for more info.

Early next year we will be running another cohort. Sign up here if you are based in Detroit and would like to be involved. Facilitator training tentatively takes place on the 4th and 5th of February 2025, please sign up if you’re interested.

Peer Learning Meetup: Our first Peer Learning Meetup will happen on the 13th of November 12pm ET. In this short workshop we will work together to set learning goals using the SMART framework. This is aimed at everyone interested in moving their personal learning forward. RSVP to secure your spot.

Tools for Peer Learning: In December we will talk about Tools for Peer Learning. Over the years we’ve built many different tools to help you facilitate or participate in successful peer learning experiences. In this call we will do an overview of those tools and talk about what is still missing or can be improved.

Moving the furniture: We are starting to incrementally update p2pu.org to make it easier to find relevant resources and better align with the work we’re doing. Let us know what you think and what parts you find most useful.

Support P2PU: Did you know that you can get awesome merch from spreadshirt and support P2PU in the process. Have a look at our online shop. You can also donate.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the people who make P2PU what it is! The year is speeding by, but it isn’t done yet and we look forward to seeing you somewhere before the end of the year!

Cheers,
The P2PU team
