School of Open is moving along nicely. By the end of last week we had:
++ written up a nice purpose/scope/values document;
++ created a set of guidelines for contributing to the School;
++ structured a virtual sprint (happening tomorrow) to build components of the School;
++ tried/failed to make a skills map;

For the first two days of School of Open workshopping, our process has teetered between in-the-clouds theorizing and on-the-ground brainstorming. This often results in chaos but I think we’re actually getting somewhere.

The School of Open is about to take off in a big way over the next two weeks. Starting this Monday, 13 July, three peers + myself will be dedicating our energies full-time every day to mapping skills and creating courses that relate to openness.
